The IoT hotspot availability within New York has increased quite a bit over the past 3 weeks to a month. The map we have observed previously, only showed the number of online hotspots that were currently available. As we have another look. The map now displays the number of reserved hotspots as well as how many are currently being planned out.

When you look at a broad snapshot of the area. You will identify that there are many more hotspots that are currently “online”, than there are planned or reserved spots. However, more reserved / planned spots are coming online. Which is starting to fill out the network quite nicely, for those living in the New York City area.

At this moment in time, Staten Island, East Orange, Newark and Elizabeth. All appear to have less online spots, with room for growth.
