Available Models & Performance
Without including the frequency bands, the SenseCAP gateway appears to have 3 models available for purchase. A 2GB RAM model, a 4GB model and an 8GB model. Each of these are differentiated by a code, which can be identified in their model name. For example, M1-4915 refers to a 4GB RAM model.
The processor that can be found on this device is the Raspberry Pi 4 (Broadcom BCM2711, Quad core Cortex-A72 (ARM v8) 64-bit SoC @ 1.5GHz). It also has a default storage capacity of 64GB with a MicroSD card. The device additionaly provides 2.4 GHz & 5.0 GHz IEEE 802.11ac wireless capabilities, along with Bluetooth 5.0 / BLE. (1)

Of the many brands we have looked at. SenseCAP seems to have less frequency bands that that they operate in. The operating frequencies that are currently available for the SenseCAP M1 include; US915, EU868 & AS923. The frequencies is listed below will function in the following locations;
- US915 (902MHz ~ 928MHz) – North America, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Guyana & more
- EU868 (863MHz ~ 870MHz) – Europe, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Rwanda & more
- AS923 (902MHz ~ 928MHz) – Hong Kong, Japan, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Cuba, Bangladesh, Algeria, Tanzania & more (2)

Additional Information
- This model is meant for indoors and should be should be placed in a recommended enclosure, if planning to be used outdoors.
- As per their website, SenseCAP initially supported 2 frequency bands. They have since included the AS923 frequency band. Although have not made it made it clear as to when, or if. Any other bands will be available anytime soon.
As with most electronics & mining devices. There has been a shortage of chips which has slowed down the production and shipment of these tools / gadgets. Many top manufacturers and suppliers, have stopped accepting orders due to the high demand and shortage of supply. Some are taking pre-orders. While others are asking clients to join their mailing list, to be notified once hotspot mining devices are available for sale and delivery again.
