In our opinion, the best place to purchase would be the manufacturer’s website, or through a trusted reseller on Amazon, eBay or something similar. One thing to keep in mind, is that many resellers on eBay and similar platforms. May not have genuine Helium mining devices. It’s best to double check their reviews and / or get proof via a real photo before making your purchase.

Available Models & Performance
As previously mentioned, the RAK V2 miner is available in two different versions. Black (4GB RAM) and gold (8GB RAM). Both use the same form factor and measure approximately; 92 mm (3.62″) in length, 68.3 mm (2.69″) in width and 57.2 mm (2.25″) in height.
The mining device itself uses a Raspberry Pi 4 board (Linux). It’s based on the Semtech SX1302 LoRa Concentrator Engine. In terms of wireless connections, the device uses 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz IEEE 802.11b/g/n/ac wireless LAN. As well as Bluetooth 5.0 and BLE (Bluetooth low energy). (2)

- This mining device is considered low powered and consumes as much power as an LED light bulb at about 5W.

Although there is no guarantee that you will come away with a purchase. There is huge demand and very few available opportunities to buy. Especially when you are competing against bot activity.***Their next drop is expected for Europe, within the next 2 to 3 weeks.***
As with most electronics & mining devices. There has been a shortage of chips which has slowed down the production and shipment of these tools / gadgets. Many top manufacturers and suppliers, have stopped accepting orders due to the high demand and shortage of supply. Some are taking pre-orders. While others are asking clients to join their mailing list, to be notified once hotspot mining devices are available for sale and delivery again.
